We are saddened to bear news of the passing of a devoted member to the Elder Scrolls modding community. Lou Zan’s courageous battle with cancer came to end on January 07, 2021, with an update video posted from her daughter on January 22, 2021. With the blessings of the Divines, her journey to the world beyond this mortal one will be safe and peaceful.

Lou Zan dedicated many years of love and passion to her YouTube channel – Lou Zan – Machinima. From her adventures in Cyrodiil through the Rigmor of Cyrodiil DLC, Dragonchild, to seeking romance in Skyrim through the Skyrim Romance Mod, she amassed a loving community who adored both her and her work. The creativity and enthusiasm she poured into each video was evident to her supportive family and ever-growing number of subscribers. 

On behalf of the Skyrim Romance Modding Community, as well as the modding community as a whole, we would like to extend our condolences to Lou’s family. Her legacy will always be remembered and her warmth treasured amongst the many friends she made through her journeys.

Rest in peace, Lou Zan. Forever in our hearts.
