With the work on ‘Forbidden Love’ progressing, let’s take the time to appreciate the members who have been working hard to deliver an amazing and unforgettable experience with the Forsworn heartthrob, Cael.

Our featured artist for today is the amazing Euclesia! She’s a Visual Artist for the mod who has made an astounding portfolio on her twitter and facebook. Her arts range from cute chibi-like arts to comic full-size characters. Her works have a distinguishable colour palette that is just the perfect mixture of strong and faded colours similar to that of Dragon Age Inquisition where each colour pops out but blends well with all the other items on the canvas.

How did you get into art?

“I think I’ve always been into art. My dad is a musician and my mom is a painter/sculptor hobbyist, so I grew up in an artistic environment. I really began to draw and write when I was 11, but it was mostly for myself. It’s only at 20 that I created pages on social media, and here I am!”

Are there any influences/inspirations to your creations?

It’s funny because my first inspiration is far away from what I draw now. As an example, I began my journey with Yu-Gi-Oh, so all my characters were cubics with impossible hair.

Today, I don’t have any master that inspires me and maybe that’s a mistake. Although I love several artists for particular aspects in their work, like BoissB for his colorful faces, or Sylvain Sarrailh for his wonderful landscapes.

How’d you hear/learn about Forbidden Love/Skyrim Romance? And what made you want to join the arts team?

I love Skyrim since the game was launched on PS3. Then I played on computer and that’s when I discovered the wonderful world of mods, and Skyrim Romance with it. It was such a magical discovery cause my favorite video game saga is Dragon Age and what I loved about those games were the complex relationships you can build with your followers. Skyrim Romance literally added one of the features that I love the most in a video game. I didn’t had to think twice when I saw the team needed help for it’s new mod Forbidden Love.

What’s your story? How did you become so great and passionate about art?

“I don’t know if I’m great but I’m passionate, that’s for sure ! I think my passion for drawing and writing were always linked. When I built the lore of my novel, I needed to illustrate every character and every creature of my world and I was pretty hyped about it. So when I write, I need to draw, and when I draw, I need to write.”

Tell us about some stuff about your creations and some things you’re allowed to tell us about the Forbidden Love such as inspirations, interesting stories, what you felt when designing items/characters in the mod.

“Well, first thing to know is that I’m french, so it was not just working with new people, but also discovering a whole new culture and discussing about it. The thing I like the most of being a part of the team is to chat with members. It’s a fantastic and friendly community.
For what I can tell about the stuff I created for the mod, it was mainly armors and weapons. I can’t wait to see them ingame.”

Would you like to get into the video game industry with your skills? What do you want to make?

That would be awesome, but not for now. I’m too focused on my novel to be 100% into a game company. Right now, I don’t have the need to work as a concept artist or illustrator, except for commissions. I’m just following my little dreams and building a strong portfolio, step by step.

Where do you plan to take your passion in the future? Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years time?

“When I see my progress in only four years, I can’t imagine what my art will look like in ten years. I guess it’ll be better and closer to my true self.
I think my trilogy will be out, maybe even in english, with an artbook ! I’ll do what it takes to achieve my childhood dreams.”

Is there anything you’d like to say to people that wants to pursue artistic creation may it be graphic design, digital art, visual artist, etc.?

“I would have hundreds of things to tell them [be]cause it’s so vast. I think that one of the most important aspect[s] of being an artist is to do what you love BUT never let your mind [get you] stuck you into a particular art style. Getting out of your comfort zone is the only way to progress and create exactly what you had in mind. Find your own perfect balance between creating what you like and progressing in your journey.”
