Lady Aribeth
A Paladin like Casavir, Lady Aribeth is equally devoted to serving the Divines, ridding the world of evil, and helping lands near and far. After hearing that he had set sail for Skyrim and worrying about the fate of her friend and apprentice, she followed him to see if she could help him and Skyrim. A kind yet no nonsense woman who has seen much in her time, her wisdom and diplomatic abilities rival Casavir’s. Being an elf as well, she has unique insight into their ideologies and different ways of interacting with people. But just like Casavir, Aribeth too struggles with demons from her past. It seems in the Paladin Order, everyone has a story to tell that is shrouded in darkness.
Cullen Reinhardt
Cullen Reinhardt has seen his fair share of battles – and lived to tell about them. Having commanded a fair few of them, his squads have served him faithfully and admired his leadership for years. As much as Cullen appreciates their respect and loves his homeland, however, he decides it is time to get a fresh start somewhere else now that peace has been restored. Unfortunately for him, though, his heart still roils with pain in the wake of a tragedy that unexpectedly struck him. Hoping that new scenery will help him recover, he departs for Skyrim where he meets Casavir on the ship. Finding him comforting to talk to and of like mind in their profession as warriors, he starts to see that he’s not alone and that camaraderie knows no geographical bounds.
Torvald
A hard working Nord, Torvald is a pious, patriotic, and all around decent man who just wants to make a living and worship freely. Unable to stand the sight of people constantly being brought into the Hall of the Dead because of the Civil War, he relocates to the mountains, hoping to gain some perspective. Moving away from his hometown of Falkreath has separated him from his family, which he regrets, but he hopes he can make up for it, especially where his niece is concerned.
Marcus
An eclectic, slightly paranoid mage, Marcus has a heart of gold and only wants to train his abilities in peace. Too bad the people around him have other ideas! Since Marcus moved to his current city of residence, he has had to contend with one distraction after the next. His current distraction, though, tops them all. Perhaps there is a way to help this hapless mage and give him a proper place to practice his craft…
Maria
Maria is a sweet, gentle farmhand who redefines the meaning of the word “charity.” Always willing to help the community in any way it needs, she especially busies herself with keeping the population well-fed. In light of the risks of famine in her town due to the harsh weather and restricted deliveries of supplies/food, she takes extra care to make sure everyone goes to bed with a full, warm stomach. She is the embodiment of community service that even the Divines on high would be proud of. Surely there is someone who can assist her in bringing aid to her people!
Jaleesa
A dutiful, loving young woman, Jaleesa cares about everyone’s health and well-being. For that reason, she spends her life hunting in the forests trying to provide ingredients to the local alchemists in Riften to treat the ailments of its citizens. However, when an illness hits close to home and she is required to stay nearby, she will need someone else to find ingredients in her stead in her hour of need.
Gronk
He’s big, green, and a fighting machine. Well, at least he used to be. Gronk may look scary and intimidating, but without his beloved weapon of choice and his family who has moved away, he becomes a sentimental softy. If only someone could get him a replacement for his weapon. He’d surely be nothing but grateful then and be more than happy to “turn the charm” back on for any of their enemies.
Jorgen
Quartermaster
Having spent his youth hearing about the beautiful architecture and interior designs of the estates and castles in Cyrodiil, Jorgen made it his dream to become a world famous decorator and perhaps even travel to the capital of the Empire someday. But, such a dream is difficult to realize in Skyrim, a place that values anyone who can carry the heaviest logs more than someone who can choose the finest color palettes or drapery. As such, Jorgen decided the closest he could get to his dream would be to work for the East Empire Company in Solitude. There, he could come into contact with imports and exports that would go into the wealthiest households in the world. Unfortunately, the company is becoming more and more taken over by members of the Thieves’ Guild and he is finding it unbearable to stomach working there. He’d happily leave if offered a better opportunity that would more readily allow him to fulfill his dreams.
Tadgh
Troubadour
Growing up in an up-and-coming mercantile family, Tadgh’s father wanted him to continue to build their family’s wealth and connections by marrying into nobility. However, that was not what Tadgh wanted. His passion was singing and playing the lute, so when he was offered the chance to go play for the Emperor in the Imperial City, his parents allowed it with the expressed understanding that he would marry the daughter of a local lord shortly thereafter. Such an arrangement, naturally, did not sit well with Tadgh, who did not wish to marry at all. Once he was safely ensconced in the Imperial Palace, he hoped and pray for a way out of his predicament. Such an answer came one day when he was traveling with the Emperor and saw a certain Paladin on one of the ships headed for Skyrim. Things were never the same for Tadgh after that and immediately, he staged a grand getaway from the Imperial Palace. Then, he set sail for Skyrim himself, hoping to find the Paladin who had been so kind to him and given him a new lease on life.
Agnar
When Agnar was a young man living in Ivarstead, he would stare up in awe at the Throat of the World and the massive monastery that sat atop it which housed the legendary Graybeards. Their life of seclusion, privacy, and asceticism appealed to Agnar, but unfortunately, life had other plans for him. When his father died, he was forced to support his sisters and mother. For that reason, he took his charismatic talents to Solitude and became a priest in the Temple of the Divines, sending money back home as often as possible. While reciting a prayer there one day, Queen Elisif encountered him and was so impressed by his speech, she thought he would be perfect for the role of a priest in a play being staged at her palace. The idea did not instantly appeal to Agnar, but the hefty sum of money she had offered him was too good to turn down. Begrudgingly, he accepted the role, but he never abandoned his true roots. Somehow, someway, he is determined to find a way back home where he can pray and worship near the storied mountain that holds the secrets of the dragons.
Emily
A 13 year old girl who has the weight of the world literally on her shoulders, she has spent the whole time since her village was destroyed and her Papa was killed looking out for her little brother, Jacob. It has not been easy and has made her have to grow up very quickly, just like the other orphans who have lost their homes and families and are now living on Skyrim’s streets. An action minded young girl, Emily is not afraid to stand up to anyone she thinks is a threat to her brother or anyone else, which is something that made her quite the hero with the other orphaned children in Riften. Despite her and Jacob’s hardships, she has not stopped dreaming about her future. She is determined to find happiness and comfort for herself and her brother.
Jacob
An 11 year old boy, Jacob was too young to remember when his and Emily’s mother died when he was three. As such, he got very close to their father growing up and was devastated when he died. Emily has therefore had to play both mother and father in order to help him cope. Their relationship, as a result, has become very close and tender. Jacob admires his sister completely and loves her deeply. Additionally, he is playful and good humored, always talking about his love for stories, legends, and plays.
Will you help these precious children feel loved and safe the way every child deserves?
